Collaborative Research to Focus on Green Tea

As interest in green tea grows, Leatherhead Food International, Leatherhead, Surrey, U.K., has decided to initiate a collaborative research project to evaluate the bioavailability of green tea extract from different food matrices. This study will test the hypothesis that the uptake of green tea catechins can be affected when consumed in different food matrices. Leatherhead will discuss the proposed project with interested parties later this month.
